Dick R.

Superintendent

I began my career as a superintendent overseeing the building of the first McDonalds in the MSP International Airport. Being self motivated and adaptable has benefitted me in my construction career – 35 years ago, I never would have envisioned myself going from a landline phone in my job trailer to an iPad that fits in the palm of my hand and contains all my blueprints and daily logs.

I’ve built many ground-up buildings, but my specialty is in occupied additions and remodels. I take project ownership seriously; it’s my top priority to produce a quality, on-time, on-budget project while seeing to it that everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

Favorite Tool:

Biscuit cutter – even though I can’t eat them, it’s a great way to attach flat pieces together.

Little Known Facts:

I played hockey until age 55 on my backyard rink. I boated the Mississippi River from Minneapolis to the Gulf of Mexico when I was 17 years old. I look forward to retirement so I can spend more time playing with my grandkids, fishing, gardening, and hunting.
