Kristy A.

Project Coordinator

I grew up in a construction, engineering, and architecture family with blocks of wood, hammers, and drills as my toys and the tool shed as the playground. I was born in Milwaukee, WI, spent most of my time outdoors in Spooner, WI and have been very hands-on building and rebuilding my cabin.

I started my career in a small design-build construction company in Tacoma, WA as assistant PM half by day and an architectural intern the other half where I found my dream job working construction projects from all sides. I love the design-build philosophy of everyone on the same team working for the same goal. This is where I found my strongest core value to work collaboratively to help get the work done the most successful solutions possible.

With 30 years in the AEC industry, I am passionate about the built environment and working in a variety of roles positively with the teams who design and build them. I find Gardner Builders a perfectly natural progression to making the world a better place one space at a time.
