Tommy M.
Project Management Intern
I spent time painting and woodworking on the side while I was in high school, so construction was always something that interested me. When I learned it was a major in college I transferred immediately. What I love most about the work so far is seeing something all the way through from start to finish, and working with incredible, hardworking people. As a Project Management intern I aim to continue learning more about the lifecycle of large builds and how best to balance proactive management with troubleshooting unforeseen issues.
I’m motivated every day by the opportunity to wake up healthy, happy, and able to become a better version of myself. It’s a privilege I don’t take for granted, and it inspires me to make the most of each day. That outlook extends beyond work, too. I’m always looking for ways to stay active, whether that’s playing on a men’s league softball team, competing in intramural hockey at the University of Minnesota, or going for a run. For a change of pace, I also enjoy DJing, which lets me tap into a more creative side.
