Pete S.

Project Engineer

grew up in southern Minnesota where my curiosity for construction began at a young age playing in the sandbox and building with Legos. That curiosity turned into a passion while taking shop class my senior year of high school and I knew construction was the industry for me. I’ve now been in the industry for about four years, working for a commercial trade partner prior to my time at Gardner.
My favorite thing about construction is the ability to learn something new every single day. No matter how long you have been doing it, there is always a new skill to pick up or a new trade to get up to speed on. I also really enjoy all the great people we collaborate with on a daily basis. Whether it be a co-worker, client, design partner, or trade partner, I value the relationships that are built and maintained throughout the construction process.
I am excited to be working at Gardner with some of the best and brightest in the industry. I look forward to coming to work each day knowing that I will be challenged and get to work towards the common goal of delivering an amazing final product for the customer.
