Josh D.
Superintendent
I’ve always been drawn to work where I can see real progress and be part of building something from the ground up. Early in my career, while working as a pre-apprentice electrician on roadway projects, I discovered a passion for construction that pushed me to pursue it long-term. Having the opportunity to spend a few years on the project management side of the industry gave me a strong foundation in planning, coordination, and big-picture thinking before transitioning into field supervision.
I joined the Gardner team in 2021 and now work as a superintendent, where I enjoy being involved in every phase of a project. My experience in both the office and the field helps me bridge communication between teams and keep work moving efficiently on-site. I’ve also had the opportunity to work on large, complex projects, including a data-center conversion in downtown Minneapolis.
Outside of work, that same drive carries into my personal life. I enjoy working on cars, motorcycles, and home projects, along with hunting, fishing, and archery.
