Sam I.
Carpenter Foreman
Watching my dad remodel our home while I was growing up is what first sparked my interest in carpentry. Seeing projects take shape firsthand made it clear early on that this was the career I wanted to pursue. I’m drawn to the constant learning that comes with the job and enjoy finding new ways to improve my skills every day.
I joined the Gardner Builders team to continue growing in the trade and to put my over two decades of experience as a carpenter to work alongside a strong team. The variety of projects and the opportunity to keep learning are what keep me motivated and engaged on the job site.
Outside of work, I spend as much time as I can with my wife, our two kids, and our big dog. I also enjoy building motorcycles and restoring classic cars — a hobby that’s grown enough that I’m adding another garage to my property to make room for a collection that’s always expanding.
Favorite Tool:
I would have to say an impact driver. I remember the days of trying to put
in screws with an old fashioned drill, and it doesn’t even compare to the
convenience and performance of an impact.
Little Known Facts:
I’m a Vikings football fan.
I’ve been to Mexico 4 times.
I love doing metal fabrication, and painting cars.
