My grandfather was a carpenter who built his own house before I was born, and I have many memories of him working on building projects. Watching him showed me early on what it means to create something that lasts. My favorite part of working in construction is seeing how everything comes together and what a team can accomplish. Ground-up projects have a special place in my heart because you can always drive by and say, “I helped build that.” Interior renovations make that a little harder, but the pride is still there. 

When I’m not working, I love to travel. I’ve made it to some incredible places, Germany, Japan, and Hawaii among them. I also love cooking and grilling, and I have three cats.
