What I love most about construction is the connections you make and the fun, hands-on nature of the work. I started out working in the back at Menards, and after some academic soul-searching and conversations with contractors I worked with regularly, I switched my major to Construction Management and never looked back. I'm building toward the future I want for myself. Just like any successful project, it takes continuous learning, steady progress, and attention to detail, qualities I strive to bring to my work as a project engineer and my life.

When I’m not thinking about construction projects, I lean into creativity and adventure. I've been a creative writer since I was a kid and would love to publish a book someday. I've also been riding on the back of motorcycles since I was nine, and now that I have my own (a 2005 Suzuki SV650S), I'm hoping to grow my collection and eventually get into track riding. When I'm not writing or riding, you'll find me reading, relaxing with my dog, or tending to my plants and reptiles.
