What I enjoy most about working in construction is that every day throws a different challenge at you. I like to zone in on why numbers aren't working the way they should be, and I get real satisfaction out of puzzling through the numbers. Although my husband works in construction, I never really thought about accounting in the construction world until I decided to give it a try and quickly fell in love with it. In my role, I handle client billings, analyze project costs and profit data, and serve as a point of contact for accounting inquiries from project managers, clients, and trade partners.

My family motivates me every day, and when I'm not at work, you can find me taking walks, traveling, reading, camping, and four-wheeling. On weekends, I love spending time on our 40 acres in Necedah, Wisconsin with my two kids and two dogs. But every now and then, I like to trade the quiet countryside for a new adventure. For example, I climbed Mount Hooiberg, which meant tackling 580 concrete steps, and I'd do it again.
