Carpenter Apprentice

To me, hospitality means to meet people with respect even if you don’t know them and creating a space where the person can feel comfortable around you and in the area they’re in.

I was inspired to get into construction by the anime One Piece, which has a whole season focused on building ships. The process intrigued me, so when I was in ninth grade, I started researching a career path in carpentry. Early in my career, I gained hands-on experience at Lake Street Works and the Finishing Trades Institute, as well as doing a bit of landscaping work.

At Gardner, I focus on bringing care and precision to everything I work on. I pay close attention to detail so each build meets high design and quality standards, and I enjoy working closely with trade partners and designers to make sure the carpentry fits seamlessly into the overall project.

I enjoy working with my hands outside of work as well, mostly through baking and drawing. I’m a youth leader at my church, and my favorite way to relax is to spend time with my friends and family.
