I began my career in construction by managing the books and finances for a family-owned construction business. Over the years, I've gained a strong understanding of the financial and operational side of the industry. What I enjoy most about this industry is the collaboration across different teams, and how accounting offers something tangible: you can look at a finished project and know your financial management played a part in making it happen. I'm motivated by my kids and family, by walking into a workplace I genuinely enjoy, and by being part of a team where I can see that my contributions actually make a difference.

After spending several years in Colorado, my family moved back to Minnesota. While we loved being surrounded by mountain views, nothing beats a Minnesota summer, and we're glad to be home. I love going to concerts, spending weekends at the cabin, and traveling. Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, and Jamaica are all favorites. Fun fact: I can't cook to save my life, but I've mastered the art of being a great side-dish maker.
