While I always had a passion for construction, my path into the industry was somewhat unconventional. I majored in finance and worked for a large commercial real estate firm right out of college. After seeing firsthand how buildings were acquired and operated, I realized I wanted to focus on construction and went to work for a specialty contractor, bidding and managing various projects. I have now been in the commercial construction industry for over a decade. My background in finance helps me understand the bottom line for the customer and ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time.

My favorite part about construction is seeing a set of plans come to life, problem-solving along the way, and taking a step back at the end to admire the finished product. I enjoy collaborating with others to complete a successful project, and I value the relationships that are built and maintained as a result.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with family, enjoying outdoor activities, cooking and grilling, and watching college football.
